Members of the Uzbekistan national team won 4 gold and 2 bronze medals on the second day of the Asian Kurash Championship among seniors, cadets, and juniors in the Republic of Korea.

Following intense and determined competition, the continental champions were Sanjar Saidqulov (up to 60 kg), Muhammad Jumayev (up to 73 kg), Umid Esanov (up to 81 kg), and Shohista Nazarova (up to 70 kg).

Uzbekistan national team currently leads the overall medal standings with a total of six medals, followed by the teams from Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Vietnam, and Korea.

Today, on the final day of the championship, men will compete in the 90 kg, 100 kg, 120 kg, and over 120 kg categories, while women will compete in the 48 kg, 52 kg, 57 kg, and 63 kg weight classes.

It should be noted that kurash athletes from around 25 countries are participating in this continental championship.
