Uzbekistan’s gymnasts are taking part in the World Cup, in Azerbaijan. Representatives of weightlifting and equestrian sports today began to participate in the First International Navruz Olympiad in Iran, taekwondo athletes – in a prestigious tournament in the Netherlands.

The final competitions of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup will be held in Baku today. Uzbekistan’s Oksana Chusovitina will take part in the vault competitions, and Rasuljon Abdurakhimov – in the uneven bars.

Yana Pavliva, Sofia Lee and Sugdiyona Nozimjonova compete today in equestrian sports at the First Navruz International Olympiad in Tehran (Iran), which will run until March 14. At this Olympiad, Uzbekistan is represented by talented weightlifters Nigora Abdullayeva (55), Sevinchoy Komilova (71), Rigina Adashboyeva (81) and Tursunoy Jabborova (+81).

Ulugbek Rashitov, Niyaz Pulatov, Jasur Jaysunov, Nikita Rafalovich, Madinabonu Mannopova, Feruza Sodikova and Svetlana Osipova will also defend the honor of the country at the Dutch Open Taekwondo Championships, in the Netherlands.
