Undoubtedly, the Uzbekistan weightlifting team is among the leaders in the 2nd CIS Games. Since the beginning of this sports forum, weightlifters have been winning prizes every day.

Yesterday, among 9 athletes who actively competed for medals, Uzbekistan’s Nursultan Yesbergenov showed a worthy result in the 81 kilograms weight category. He lifted 150 kg in the snatch and 178 kilograms in the clean and jerk. He took 3rd place.

Three Uzbekistan athletes climbed the podium in the biathlon with the results: Vyacheslav Yarkin – 333 kilograms, Ramzan Jankhotov – 331 kilograms, and Nursultan Yesbergenov – 328 kilograms. This testifies to their perseverance in the struggle for victory.

Thus, Uzbekistan weightlifters added a bronze medal to the national team. Ogabek Tukhtayev, who participated in this group, limited himself to 5th place.
