Following the results of one of the most challenging and prestigious international military competitions in the world, “Cambrian Patrol”, held in the United Kingdom, Wales, the team of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan adequately defended the country’s honor.

This year, over 100 teams from more than 30 countries participated in the competition, including teams from the UK, USA, France, India, Germany, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Italy and other countries. Each team covered a distance of more than 80 km, during which they overcame the most difficult natural and tactical obstacles. Every 8-10 km, on different sections of the route, the participants performed combat training tasks for actions under the threat of the use of chemical and biological weapons during offensive operations and determining the direction of movement in difficult terrain.

According to the final results, the Uzbekistan team was awarded silver medals.

The Cambrian Patrol has been held annually for 60 years. It brings together military units worldwide to test their combat skills and endurance in conditions as close to combat as possible. During the competition, the units cover a distance of 80 km for less than 48 hours, and they will have to carry out various maneuvers and perform various patrol tasks. The competition is held in the problematic mountainous and marshy areas of the central part of Wales.
