Uzbekistan’s trade with the CIS amounts to $15867.8 million

Last year, the share of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover with other CIS countries increased by 5.1% compared to the same period in 2020 and amounted to 37.7%.

According to the State Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover with the CIS countries reached $15867.8 million, of which the volume of exports amounted to $5407.6 million, and the volume of imports – $10460.2 million.

Most of the CIS countries, Uzbekistan traded with Russia (47.4%), Kazakhstan (24.6%) and Kyrgyzstan (6%).

The foreign trade turnover of the country with the EAEU states amounted to $12,770.8 million, of which the volume of exports amounted to $4,091 million, and imports – $8,679.8 million.

Uzbekistan’s trade with other countries in January-December 2021 decreased by 5.1% compared to the same period in 2020 and amounted to 62.3% of the total foreign trade turnover.
