Uzbekistan’s tourism potential was presented in Chengdu city, Sichuan, China, the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan reports.

Representatives of leading companies in the industry were invited to the event with the participation of the Chairman of the Tourism Committee, Umid Shodiyev. They were informed about Uzbekistan’s most popular and promising tourist destinations, the benefits of investment projects in the tourism sector, and new tourist resorts.

Considering the launch of direct flights from Chengdu to Tashkent, the parties agreed to organize familiarization tours for travel companies to increase the flow of tourists from Sichuan in 2024, provide promotional materials, and participate in tourism exhibitions in both countries.
