A certificate presentation ceremony took place in Bratislava for Diana Štrofová, who was appointed by the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan as the country’s Tourism Brand Ambassador to Slovakia.

The event was held as part of initiatives to develop cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovakia in tourism.

During the meeting, participants were briefed on the large-scale reforms underway in Uzbekistan, key results of bilateral cooperation in 2025, and promising areas for further collaboration. Special attention was paid to the current state and potential of partnership between Uzbekistan and Slovakia in the tourism industry.

Diana Štrofová thanked for the trust and stressed her willingness to leverage her professional experience and expertise to actively promote Uzbekistan’s tourism potential internationally and to implement practical initiatives in this area.

Diana Štrofová has significant experience in government and socio-political activities. In 1998-2006, she was a Deputy of the National Council of Slovakia, and in 2006-2010, she served as State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since 2012, she has led External Relations at the AZC Group.
