The State Statistics Committee has announced the countries with a high share of exports from Uzbekistan, as well as countries importing Uzbekistan products for January-August 2022.
For eight months of the year, Russia ranked first to which Uzbekistan exported products. Export volumes to Russia amounted to $1.853 billion.
The countries are listed in the following order:
China – $1.769 billion;
Türkiye – $1.125 billion;
Kazakhstan – $884 million;
Kyrgyzstan – $598 million;
Afghanistan – $465 million;
Tajikistan – $309 million;
Turkmenistan – $146 million;
Canada – $137 million;
Iran – $108 million.
China and Russia also lead the list of countries from which imports went to Uzbekistan in January-August. The volume of imports from these countries amounted to 4.3 and 3.8 billion dollars, respectively.
The countries are listed in the following order:
Kazakhstan – $1.9 billion;
Korea – $1.6 billion;
Türkiye – $1.1 billion;
Germany – $649 million;
India – $413 million;
Turkmenistan – $387 million;
Brazil – $337 million;
United States – $267 million.
