Lebanon hosted the WTT Youth Contender International Table Tennis Tournament. Uzbekistan’s young tennis players in various age categories won 9 gold, 8 silver, and 7 bronze medals.

On the last day of the championships, Khurshid Akhmedov won a gold medal in the 15-year-old category. Arujan Kamalova became the gold medalist in the women’s championships in this age category. Asel Yerkebayeva and Adelina Khasanova won bronze medals.

Amir Shiriyev won a gold medal in the men’s championships under 11 years old, Husen Iskandarov a silver medal, and Lochin Abdukhalilov a bronze medal.

Among the girls, Makhliyo Masharipova rose to the podium’s highest step. Shokhrukh Iskandarov (boys under 19) won a silver medal.
