At the Asian Para Taekwondo Championships, held in Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City, athletes of Uzbekistan won 2 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals taking second place in the team event.

According to the National Paralympic Committee, the country’s national team was recognized as the best team in the championships, and the head coach of the team Bobur Kuziyev was recognized as the best coach.

Para taekwondo fighters Kudrat Khaydarov and Guljanoy Naimova won gold medals, Ziyoda Isokova – silver medal, Kudrat Suyunov, Asil Khusanov and Asad Anvarov – bronze medals in their weight categories.
