Dushanbe hosted the 17th Meeting of the Chairmen of the Supreme Courts of the SCO Member States under the chairmanship of Tajikistan.

The meeting was attended by Supreme Court Chairmen of India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, chairmen and judges of the Supreme Courts of the observer countries – Belarus, Iran, Mongolia, as well as SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming and representatives of the Executive Committee of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure.

Uzbekistan delegation was led by the Chairman of the Supreme Court Bakhtiyor Islamov.

Issues related to the practice of applying national legislation in the consideration of disputes on the bankruptcy of individuals and legal entities, the specifics of the consideration of cases of adoption were discussed at the event. Issues related to artificial intelligence and robotics in court proceedings were considered.
