The cultural-historical heritage and tourism potential of Uzbekistan were vividly showcased at the Window to the World International Festival in China’s Shenzhen.
The national stand, prepared by the Consulate General together with Uzbekistan students, has become one of the most visited expositions.
Representatives from more than 30 countries, including Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Egypt, Morocco, Russia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan, attended the event.

The guests became familiar with folk crafts, decorative and applied arts, traditional sweets, and dishes of Uzbek cuisine. The national dance performed by fellow compatriots attracted the audience’s special attention.
Sights in Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, as well as cultural, ecological, gastronomic, and other types of tourism, were demonstrated at the event. The information aroused keen interest and positive feedback from the participants.
