On May 11, the 43rd OCA General Assembly will be held in Bangkok, Thailand.
A sports delegation of Uzbekistan, led by Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia Otabek Umarov, is participating in this prestigious conference. Before the conference, several meetings were held with representatives of the Olympic movement of the Asian continent.
In particular, at meetings with the current head of the Olympic Council of Asia, Raja Singh, and the Director General of the OCA, the World Aquatics President Hussain Al Musallam, issues of preparation for the Tashkent 2025 Asian Youth Games were discussed.

Representatives of the OCA emphasized that Uzbekistan is ready to hold the upcoming competitions at a high level.
Issues such as taking the development of water sports in Uzbekistan to a new level and organizing more workshops for coaches and judges with the participation of famous experts were also discussed.
As part of the General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia, the delegation of the country’s Olympic movement also discussed issues of further mutually beneficial cooperation with representatives of the national Olympic committees of several countries and the OCA.
