Uzbekistan’s skier Komiljon Tukhtayev, who is preparing for the 24th Winter Olympic Games, participated in a mini international tournament in Italy’s Kronplatz Racing Center.

Almost 80 skiers from 15 countries took part in the championships. Competitions were mainly held between the participants of the Olympic Games. Komiljon Tukhtayev took 29th place in the slalom tournament.

According to Uzbekistan Ski Federation, Komiljon Tukhtayev during training in Italy before the Beijing Olympics plans to take part in three more mini-tournaments.

The only athlete who will participate in the 24^th Winter Olympic Games under the flag of Uzbekistan will arrive in Beijing in early February.
