A total of 564 shooters from 20 countries are taking part in the Asian Shooting Championships being held in New Delhi.

In the 10-meter air pistol mixed team event, Muhammad Kamalov and Nigina Saidkulova won the gold medal. Scoring 481.3 points, they set new Asian and world records in this discipline.

On the first day of the Asian Championships, which will run until February 14, Uzbekistan’s representatives won two gold medals.
