Uzbekistan’s reforms in the film industry presented in Turkey

Uzbekistan presented the reforms carried out in the country’s film industry at the international film festival of the Turkic world “Korkyt Ata”, in Istanbul.

“Of course, cooperation with the Turkic-speaking countries, as well as the relations established through the development of the film industry will strengthen”, says Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Ahmet Misbah. – Great films are created in Uzbekistan. I have a special love for your country.

Head of the Cinema Department at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rufat Hasanov, noted that their delegation participated in the Pearl of the Silk Road Tashkent International Film Festival and won the award. A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in the film project “Khoja Nasreddin”, the author of which is the People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Vagif Mustafayev.

Within the framework of Uzbek Cinema Days in Turkey, Rashid Malikov’s film “Tutqunlik” (“In Captivity”) is shown, the films “Ilkhak” (“Anxiety”) and “Khalq Jasorati” (“Heroism of the People”) are broadcast on Turkish TV channels.
