The Embassy of Uzbekistan, the Belgian Modern Education & Research Institute (MERI) and the Institute for Tourism Development under the State Committee for Tourism Development of Uzbekistan took part in an international online conference on promotion of tourism and anti-crisis management for sustainable economic growth.

The conference was attended by experts in tourism and education from France, Russia, Cameroon, as well as the UNWTO representatives. Uzbekistan delegation was represented by representatives of the Institute for Tourism Development headed by the Chief of the Institute’s International Relations Department Nargiza Khujanazarova.

The parties discussed the issues related to possible changes in tourism promotion after the COVID-19 pandemic.

A presentation took place revealing Uzbekistan’s potential in tourism, as well as the essence and significance of the reforms carried out in this direction.
