Specialists from Uzbekistan took part in the Third Symposium on “Problems and Prospects in Wrestling”, in the city of Cherkasy, Ukraine.

It was attended by a delegation led by the Director of the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Sports Specialists Ilkhom Tursunaliyev, Director of the Research Institute at the State University of Physical Culture and Sports of Uzbekistan Rashid Matkarimov.

According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, a Memorandum of Understanding in training and advanced training of specialists in the sphere was signed with the Cherkasy National University named aft. B. Khmelnytsky.

An agreement was reached on the qualitative improvement of the content of the sports education system, retraining and raising their qualifications, the creation of scientific and methodological manuals and the use of an electronic library in educational institutions.
