The Paralympic athletes of Uzbekistan, who took part in the World Para Athletics Championships in Paris, returned to the country. They won 6 gold, 7 silver, and 4 bronze medals – 17 awards.

A ceremony of meeting the winners and participants of this tournament was held at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov.

Nineteen of Uzbekistan’s Para athletes have received direct licenses to participate in the XVII Summer Paralympic Games, which will be held next year in Paris.
