Uzbekistan’s athletes won six medals in the semi-finals of the Taekwondo Grand Prix in China’s Taiyuan.

Over 100 experienced para taekwondo athletes from about 30 countries participated in the championships. Members of the Uzbekistan team won one gold (Guljanoy Naimova), two silver (Asad Anvarov and Asad Toshtemirov) and three bronze (Ziyoda Isokova, Javokhir Aliqulov, Zukhriddin Tokhirov) medals.

This achievement of the Uzbekistan national team members was the last stage of preparation for the Para-Asian Games, which will begin in Hangzhou in ten days.
