According to the National Paralympic Committee, members of the Uzbekistan team performed well at the Tokyo Open Championships, which was attended by athletes from almost ten countries.

Following the tough fights, Uzbekistan’s athletes won 3 gold, 6 silver and 2 bronze medals. In the team event, the country's representatives took second place with 11 medals. Sportsmen from Japan won first place, para-judokas from Kazakhstan closed the top three.

Para-athletes of Uzbekistan will take part in a three-day international training camp in Tokyo.
