Uzbekistan’s 16-year-old chess player Nodirbek Abdusattorov, advanced to the next round at FIDE World Cup 2021, defeating the famous Dutch grandmaster Anish Giri (3-1), Ministry of Public Education reports.

The World Cup is being held in Russia’s Sochi. The competitions will run through August 5.
