Navoi Regional Hokimiyat and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the largest travel companies and associations of Kazakhstan to strengthen ties in tourism, as well as further development of pilgrim tourism in Navoi region.

Bilateral cooperation agreements were reached between travel agencies of the region and the largest travel companies of Kazakhstan, as well as memorandums were signed by business entities of the two countries.

According to the Memorandum, the tourism opportunities of Navoi region will be widely covered in Kazakhstan media. The existing tourist facilities of Navoi region will be promoted with the support of Kazakhstani partners to establish mutually beneficial cooperation for organizing regular visits of tourists from Kazakhstan to the region.

Measures will be taken to establish cooperation between travel agencies of Navoi region and Kazakhstan, to ensure regular participation of Kazakhstan travel companies in international events (tourism fairs, exhibitions, festivals) in the region.

The resolutions and decrees adopted in Kazakhstan will include relevant proposals for organizing trips to Navoi region.

It is planned to organize an International Youth Forum with the participation of active youth of Navoi region and Kazakhstan.
