Uzbekistan’s national team is successfully participating in the Asian Youth Handball Championships in Singapore.

According to the Secretary General of Uzbekistan Handball Federation Ismoil Mathalikov, athletes under the leadership of head coach Ulugbek Ikramov beat teams from Hong Kong with a score of 35:30, from Malaysia – with a score of 36:22, from Taiwan – with a score of 31:29 and from Chinese Taipei – with a score of 31:29.

Uzbekistan’s women’s team, led by Zafar Azimov, also beat athletes from Malaysia with a score of 33:21, from Hong Kong – with a score of 30:19, and the strongest rivals – the Japanese – with a score of 32:31.
