The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov has met with the Rector of the National Conservatory of Azerbaijan Siyavush Karimi.

According to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the parties discussed bilateral cultural cooperation in the field of in-depth study of Uzbek Maqom Art and Azerbaijani National Art Mugham, mutual exchange of experience, organization of online workshops between professors and teachers of the two countries in this area.

Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Uzbek National Institute of Musical Arts named after Yunus Rajabi and the National Conservatory of Azerbaijan.
