The city of Wenzhou, China, hosted the 28th China (Wenzhou) International Leather, Shoe Material & Shoe Machinery Fair – one of the world’s largest exhibitions of the leather and footwear industry.

At this prestigious international event, the Association of Leather, Footwear, and Fur Producers of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated alongside more than 40 domestic enterprises. Exhibits were presented by leather producers, design and footwear workshops, as well as export companies supplying products to foreign markets.

Within the framework of the exhibition, Uzbekistan enterprises held bilateral negotiations with foreign partners, discussing issues of expanding export supplies, introducing modern technologies, and implementing joint projects.

Particular attention was given to the presentation of large-scale investment initiatives.

The Uzbekistan delegation presented to foreign investors the opportunities of the country’s leather and footwear sector, emphasizing tax and customs benefits as well as the developed infrastructure of industrial zones.
