Tashkent hosted Uzbekistan Open International Kickboxing Tournament.

More than a thousand athletes from 15 countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Uzbekistan took part in the tournament.

8-19-year-old athletes competed in kickboxing in the full contact program with a low kick. Uzbekistan National Team won 98 gold medals and took first place in the team classification.

The second place in the team event went to the national team of Kazakhstan, and the third to Tajikistan athletes.
