Uzbekistan’s kickboxers take first place in the team event
Tashkent hosted Uzbekistan Open International Kickboxing Tournament.
About 2,000 athletes from 22 countries took part in the competition. On the last day of the tournament, the final fights between amateurs in 10 weight categories took place.
Uzbekistan’s Nazarbek Makhmudov (-52 kg), Lazizbek Begmatov (-57 kg), Islom Tursunkulov (-67 kg), Umar Alibekov (-71 kg), Sulaymon Solikhov (+91 kg) became the winners of the tournament.
According to the results of the tournament, Uzbekistan kickboxers, having won in 5 out of 10 weight categories, took first place. Kazakhstanis won second place, and the Kyrgyz team closed the top three.
