The Uzbekistan judo team won three medals at the Grand Prix Portugal.

624 judokas from 90 countries are fighting for victory. Uzbekistan’s Gulnoza Matniyozova won a silver medal. On her way to the final, she defeated Lkhagvadulam Sarantsetseg from Mongolia, Elena Deng from Austria, Alina Lengweiler from Switzerland, Lucie Jarrot from France, and Aoife Coughlan from Australia. Uzbekistan’s’ athlete has 490 points in the world and Olympic rankings. 

Two more members of the Uzbekistan national team, Obidkhon Numonov, and Nurbek Murtazoyev, finished the tournament in the top five and scored 252 points in the world and Olympic rankings.
