At Tashkent International Airport, members of the Uzbekistan national team were solemnly welcomed after taking first place in the team standings at the Junior World Judo Championships held in Sofia, Bulgaria. Uzbekistan’s judokas won 5 gold and 2 bronze medals.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Sports Murod Ismoilov, Deputy Chairman of the National Olympic Committee Sherzod Toshmatov, officials of the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan, family members of the athletes, and representatives of the public.

They emphasized that this victory marked an important stage in preparations for the 3rd Youth Asian Games, which will be held in Bahrain from October 22 to 31 this year.
