The National Judo Team of Uzbekistan fought in the mixed team tournament to reach the quarterfinals.

The struggle ended with a score of 3: 3. In the additional round, judokas in the weight category over 90 kilograms fought for the “golden point”. Bekmurod Oltiboyev lost to Henk Grol, and the opposing team advanced to the next stage.

Thereupon, Uzbekistan’s judo team completed its participation in the Olympics.

As previously reported, Davlat Bobonov, competing in the weight category up to 90 kilograms, won a bronze medal.
