The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul held a presentation of investment opportunities, rich tourism potential, as well as reforms implemented in New Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by representatives of companies representing construction, telecommunications, innovative solutions in industry and processing, agriculture, textile production and others with investments in the United States, African countries, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

The guests were thoroughly acquainted with the large-scale socio-economic transformations in Uzbekistan, the government’s efforts to liberalize the economy and improve the investment climate, and the measures taken to stimulate the attraction of foreign investment.

The main attention was paid to the achievements of Uzbekistan in the region and the international arena. Particular attention was paid to the policy aimed at achieving and maintaining peace in Afghanistan.

Representatives of several companies expressed their desire to visit Uzbekistan to get acquainted with the existing conditions for establishing further mutually beneficial cooperation.

After the presentation, diplomats of the Consulate General, as well as representatives of textile companies who arrived from Uzbekistan, held B2B meetings with the heads of Turkish companies.
