Ambassador of Uzbekistan to India Dilshod Akhatov visited the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry and held talks with its President Natubhai Patel.

At the meeting, entrepreneurs of Gujarat were informed in detail about Uzbekistan’s investment, export potential and opportunities of the tourism sector. Specific project proposals for pharmaceuticals, leather processing, textiles, healthcare and other areas were presented to the attention of GCCI members.

Mr. Natubhai Patel proposed to prepare and sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan to further intensify contacts between representatives of the business circles of the Indian state of Gujarat and Uzbekistan.
