Representatives of the Uzbekistan national team have successfully performed at the Asian continental stage of the 2025 IHF Women’s World Championship.

Nine teams, divided into three groups, attended the championships.

Thailand, India, and Malaysia played in Group A, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Hong Kong – in Group B, and Chinese Taipei, Turkmenistan, and Indonesia – in Group C.

During the tournament, Uzbekistan’s athletes defeated Hong Kong (48:16) and Vietnam (51:18) and became first in their group.

In the final, the Uzbekistan national team faced India. The match ended in a draw – 38:38. In extra time, Uzbekistan’s athletes won 48:47 and qualified for the World Championship.
