Azerbaijan hosted the grand opening ceremony of the championships of the third stage of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup.

The championships gathered more than 170 athletes from 48 countries. Uzbekistan is represented by Oksana Chusovitina, Rasuljon Abdurakhimov, Asadbek Azamov, Utkir Jurayev, Gulnoz Jumabekova, Lobar Amrillayeva. The contest will run until March 12.

As previously reported, last week Oksana Chusovitina won a bronze medal in the vault at the championships of the second stage of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, in Doha.
