At the Asian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships among juniors and seniors, held in the capital of the Philippines – the city of Manila, Uzbekistan’s athletes took first place in the team event, winning 18 medals – 10 gold, 7 silver, and 1 bronze.

In particular, Takhmina Ikromova showed the highest result in five disciplines and became the best multi-medalist among the athletes who climbed the podium. In group exercises, all-around “gold” was won by Anastasia Sarantseva, Lola Jurayeva, and Michel Nesterova.

At the Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov, our talented athletes were solemnly welcomed by the Minister of Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Adkham Ikramov, members of the public, as well as relatives and friends of the gymnasts.
