On February 28, the Uzbekistan delegation led by the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov will take part in the ministerial meeting in the C5+1 format in Astana, Kazakhstan.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, at the event, the foreign ministers of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and the United States will discuss current issues of cooperation within the framework of this dialogue in areas of mutual interest.

Following the results of the ministerial meeting of the Central Asian countries and the United States in New York on September 22, 2022, a Joint Statement was adopted and the creation of the C5+1 Secretariat was announced.
