Uzbekistan’s fencers successfully perform in the UAE, France, and Tunisia

These days, Uzbekistan’s fencers are competing in World Cup stages at various fencing championships held in the UAE, France, and Tunisia.

221 athletes from 43 countries are participating in the sword fencing tournament in the UAE. Meyirkhan Timurov, Javokhir Nurmatov, Ahmad Fayziyev, Nurmuhammad Muminov, Dilnaz Murzatayeva, Malika Hakimova, Sevara Rahimova, and Shakhzoda Egamberdiyeva are defending Uzbekistan’s honor in these championships.

The Sabre Fencing Grand Prix Tournament starts today in Tunisia. About 340 fencers from 30 countries will take part in the competition, which will run until January 11. The Uzbekistan national team will include Islom Abdazov, Musa Aimuratov, Sardor Abdukarimbekov, Zukhriddin Qodirov, Alpomish Uroqboyev, Zaynab Dayibekova, Fernanda Herrera, Gulistan Perdibayeva, Samira Shokirova, and Nargiza Jaksibayeva.

France hosts the Rapier Fencing World Cup, with 328 athletes from 60 countries in attendance. Ilyas Molin, Ahmadillokhon Solikhodjiyev, Radmir Semeneyev, and Ulugbek Usmonov will defend Uzbekistan’s honor.
