Competitions for the Youth Fencing World Cup were held in Bulgaria and Croatia.

Talented fencers from 20 countries participated in the Fencing World Cup in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. As a result of the competition, Zukhriddin Kodirov won silver and Samira Shokirova bronze medals.

In the semi-finals of the team competition, the Uzbekistan women’s team beat the Italian team, and in the final, they managed to defeat the representatives of France and win the World Cup. The men’s team won a bronze medal.

In the competition for the World Cup in foil fencing, held in Zagreb, Croatia, the Uzbekistan men’s team won a bronze medal, beating the Hong Kong team.
