Uzbekistan’s athletes successfully performed at the next stage of the World Fencing Cup with swords among youth, held in San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica.

Uzbekistan’s young fencers demonstrated their skills in the singles and team events and won 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal.

It should be noted that these days Uzbekistan’s fencers are actively preparing for the next stage of the Sabre Fencing World Cup, which will be held on November 20-21 this year in Tashkent.

To date, Azerbaijan, Russia, Poland, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Ukraine and Belarus have submitted applications to the organizing committee for participation in the World Cup, which will soon be held in Tashkent.
