The “Belt and Road: Mutual Trade Relations” forum took place as part of the China International Import Expo-2023, in Shanghai.

The event, organized by the China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was attended by representatives from several leading trading, manufacturing, logistics, and insurance companies and representatives from foreign consulates located in Shanghai.

The Consulate General of Uzbekistan presented the export and transit potential of Uzbekistan. Participants were also informed about the current state of trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and China and the prospects for direct cooperation established between the two countries’ regions.

In turn, they exchanged views on the development and support of new trade and investment cooperation areas, as well as on transport issues.
