Deputy Prime Minister Sardor Umurzakov has received the UAE Ambassador Saeed Matar Sultan Al- Sairi Al-Qemzi.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov has received the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Saeed Matar Sultan Al- Sairi Al-Qemzi.

The parties discussed the progress in implementation of bilateral agreements and prospects for enhancing trade, economic and investment cooperation.

The progress in the implementation of joint investment projects in energy, logistics and agriculture, as well as the activities of a joint Uzbekistan – Emirates investment company, was considered.

The possibilities of enhancing cooperation through the implementation of new projects in agriculture were discussed.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the continuation of effective interaction within the discussed areas, as well as on the organization of systematic work on high-quality preparation for the upcoming meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UAE.
