Head of Uzbekistan Olympic delegation – Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov received the Mayor of Nagoya city Takashi Kawamura.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation in the economy, culture, tourism and education.

Takashi Kawamura noted with great pride that the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the city of Nagoya is an unprecedented event in the history of the city and expressed his strong commitment to the implementation of the agreements reached during the visit.

The sides considered issues of further deepening cooperation between Tashkent and Nagoya in such areas as economic cooperation, joint promotion of tourism potential, exchange of specialists, intensification of air traffic and other issues of mutual interest.
