Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Sports of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov has met with the President of the Asian Cycling Confederation Osama Ahmed Abdullah Al Shafar.

The parties considered the issues of developing cycling, enhancing and strengthening international relations between the Asian Cycling Confederation and Uzbekistan Cycling Federation, as well as holding international cycling competitions in Uzbekistan, increasing the country’s tourism potential.

“We have discussed the issues of organizing several competitions in our country”, says Aziz Abdukhakimov. – Uzbekistan will receive its own brand of a sports event, such as Tour de France and Giro dʼItalia.
