On February 9, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev received the Ambassador of Russia Oleg Malginov.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects for further development of a strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia.

The schedule and agenda of bilateral events, as well as mutual visits planned for the current year at various levels, were considered.

The readiness of the parties to take joint measures to enhance trade-economic cooperation was noted. Issues of participation of Russian representatives in the next International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia” in April 2023 in Tashkent, were discussed.
