On June 1, 2021, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fazilov held negotiations with the Deputy Managing Director of the European External Action Service, Luke Devine, via videoconference, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The parties discussed the current aspects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union.

The main attention was paid to issues related to the negotiation process on the draft Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Uzbekistan and the EU.

The parties exchanged views on the schedule and agenda of the upcoming events, as well as the implementation of joint investment projects.

Other issues on the general agenda were also discussed at the meeting.
