On July 1, 2021, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov met with Deputy-Secretary General of the European External Action Service Enrique Mora, who arrived in Tashkent to attend the next round of the European Union – Central Asia High-Level Dialogue on Political and Security Issues, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The parties exchanged views on the current situation in Afghanistan. The European side highly appreciated the active measures taken by Uzbekistan to fully support Inter-Afghan peace talks and promote the socio-economic recovery of Afghanistan.
