The active participation of Uzbekistan chess players in international competitions is reflected in the monthly ranking of the International Chess Federation.

An updated FIDE rating has been announced based on the results of tournaments held in Uzbekistan and several foreign countries in January this year.

Nodirbek Abdusattorov (15), Javokhir Sindorov (35), Rustam Kasimjanov (47), and Nodirbek Yakubboyev (75) are among the strongest chess players in the world, and their names are repeatedly mentioned in other rating categories.

In their respective directions, the top 100 chess players among men included Mukhiddin Madaminov, Muhammadzokhid Suyarov, Shamsiddin Vakhidov, Olmos Rakhmatullayev, Khumoyun Bekmurodov. Umida Omonova and Afruza Khamdamova distinguished themselves among girls.
