Uzbekistan athletes successfully participated at the World Judo Championships among military personnel in Paris.

Judoists won 4 gold and bronze medals in individual competitions and took second place in the team events. In the quarterfinals, they beat Brazil, in the semifinals – lost to judoists from Austria with a small difference. In the fight for third place, Uzbekistan’s athletes defeated Iran and won the bronze medal.
