Six boxers of the Uzbekistan national team participated in the Boxam-2024 International Tournament in La Nucia, Spain.

Mujibillo Tursunov, who competed in the -63.5 kg weight category, entered the ring against the Romanian Jitaru Robert and won with a score of 5:0. Uzbekistan’s other boxer in the same weight category, Ruslan Abdullayev, defeated the Polish boxer Bartłomiej Rośkowicz. Khavasbek Asadullayev won against the Filipino boxer Ronald Chavez, and Asadkhoja Muydinkhodjayev – against the representative of the hosts Sergio Martinez.

Lazizbek Mullajonov, who defended the honor of Uzbekistan in the heavyweight division, entered the ring against the Mexican Rogelio Romero and left his opponent no chance. Another talented boxer from Uzbekistan, Shokhjakhon Abdullayev (up to 92 kg), fought with the Polish boxer Mateusz Bereznicki and won.

The international tournament will run until February 3.
